OAKLAND — The boundary between culture and capital blurred this weekend at the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts, where the All People Power Accelerator Demo Day transformed a concert hall into a high-stakes investment stage. Championed by Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee, the event fused live hip-hop performances from the musical "Co-Founders" with a startup competition that awarded $30,000 in funding to first-time entrepreneurs.

The Pitch for visionaryPass

I presented my vision for visionaryPass, a platform designed to close the creative gap by providing the infrastructure creators need to build sustainable, consistent businesses. In an era where digital media is rapidly evolving, visionaryPass is focused on the long game and helping creators move from sporadic uploads to professional grade consistency.

The pitch was more than just a presentation; it was a statement on the future of the creator economy in Oakland. While the competition was fierce, the collaborative energy in the room was a testament to the city’s unique position as a powerhouse for both innovation and social impact.

All People Power: The Winners

The finalists take the stage at the Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts.
  • 🥇 Finnie: Chloe Hughes and Fatima Hussein presented a financial advisor platform specifically tailored for students, aiming to bridge the financial literacy gap.
  • 🥈 Choice Scores: Founded by Kev Choice and Sam Wilkins, this AI-powered music orchestration tool is set to revolutionize how composers and musicians collaborate.
  • 🥉 Herbal Oracle: Jazz Hudson and Jason Seales showcased a virtual AI herbal kiosk, bringing traditional wellness into the digital age.

The event concluded with a live concert featuring songs from "Co-Founders" leaving the audience with a clear message: the future is being built in Oakland, and it is All People Powered.

Pitching the vision for visionaryPass to a packed house in Oakland.

The momentum from Demo Day is just the beginning. As we scale visionaryPass to empower the next generation of creators, we are actively looking for angel investors and sponsors who share our vision for a more equitable and sustainable creator economy. If you’re interested in building the future of creative infrastructure with us, I’d love to connect.
